The Nissan GT-R

John Porteous  | Published on 1/17/2018

The Nissan GT-R uses a 3.8 V6 biturbo engine of 572 horsepower and 64.9 kgfm of torque, the cylinder block is closed to maximize torque.

Each of the two sides of the engine has its own turbocharger, intercooler and catalyzer, in addition to independent air inlet and outlet and the cooler has thermostat.

All this makes Godzilla go from 0 to 100 in
2.8 seconds!

The Nismo version decreases this time to 2.7 and has 608 horsepower and 66,5 kgfm of torque

The GT-R was able to beat the Porsche 911 in Nurburgring, famous German track.

In a way, it is difficult to define which Japanese car is faster because the components are very sturdy and the central electronics and parts are very permissive.

If you want to tune it, you are able to add several up-pipe and down-pipes without the engine exploding.
